This is Broomwell Ulrika, she wants you to know that we will be giving all 55 residents their pre winter service on Saturday 21st October 2023.

We will be foot trimming, worming, clipping woolly faces and woolly bottoms and generally checking that they are all hale and hearty; with this many to do it will be a pretty full on day.

It is genuinely a case of the more the merrier, I’d love to have three teams on the go and am more than happy for any one to try any of the tasks and to drop in and out to suit yourselves.

I also realise that Saturday is parkrun day so will happily provide toast with a range of conserves and preserves for you delectation and delight should you care to join us after your exertions.

As well as getting to wrangle the sheep there will be ample opportunity to cuddle them and feed them biscuits and to make them feel loved again after the stress of their ordeal.

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soft drinks will be on offer throughout the day and we will break for lunch and the inevitable pizzas at a convenient juncture.
